Arthurian legend is a conglomeration of stories told throughout the ages. Each new age/territory brings with it new takes on this popular legend. The wizard/prophet "Merlin" has a different historical name & plays a different role in each story he is mentioned in. The BBC TV series 'Merlin' adds its original take on the Arthurian legend for the modern age & follows a tradition by building upon the Arthurian legend for our time & for history. Thank you Merlin!

Colin Morgan plays Merlin and Bradley James as Arthur. Katie McGrath as Morgana, Nathaniel Parker as Agravaine, Richard Wilson as Gaius, Angel Coulby as Gwen, Tom Hopper as Sir Percival, Eoin Macken as Sir Gwaine, Adetomiwa Edun as Sir Elyan and Rupert Young as Sir Leon.
This week's guest cast features Terence Maynard as Helios and anet Montgomery as Princess Mithian. This episode will be the last in Series 4 to be directed by Jeremy Webb and filmed by cinematographer Dale McCready. This episode will also be the first Merlin episode ever to be written by Richard McBrien.
