Colin Morgan was born on the born 1 January 1986, he is an actor from Armagh, Northern Ireland. Morgan went to Integrated College Dungannon and, during his third year, won the ‘Denis Rooney Associates’ Cup awarded to the best overall student of that academic year. After gaining a National Diploma in Performing Arts (Acting) and studying at Belfast Institute of Further and Higher Education in 2004, he went on to graduate from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in 2007. In November 2010 The Belfast Metropolitan College honoured Morgan with an Award of Distinction for his contribution to the arts.
On stage he appeared in 2007 as Esteban in the Old Vic stage adaptation of Pedro Almodóvar’s Todo sobre mi madre, and took the title role in the Young Vic’s adaptation of DBC Pierre’s Vernon God Little.
Colin featured in a number of minor TV roles like The Catherine Tate Show in 2007, and the Doctor Who episode “Midnight” in 2008. In film, Morgan appears as Calum in Island,a film adaptation of Jane Rogers’ novel Island, and as Cathal in the Irish comedy-drama film Parked.
He is obviously best known these days for playing the title role in the BBC’s incredibly popular TV series Merlin!

Colin looks forward to seeing all his fans at the Brisbane Supanova Expo where he will be appearing both days between 11.00am and 5.00pm.
